The Bath Pub Company is an independent pub group operating four busy pubs in and around Bath.
For us, a great pub means three things: great food, great service and a friendly, welcoming environment.
Whilst each of our pubs is owned by one company, we’re a million miles from a branded chain. Each pub has its own distinct personality and each manager and chef work together to create his own menu according to what will work best for each pub, it’s about as far away from one size fits all as you can get.

Front of house
The role of the front of house team isn’t to serve food & drink – it’s to make every customers visit special. Of course, that often involves serving food and drink, but it’s so much more than that; a good front of house team turn good customer visits into great ones.
Our front of house roles give you a real opportunity to grow, learn and develop both personally and professionally. You’ll be working alongside people with a shared passion for delivering great service.
When it comes to service, we believe it’s about doing the basics really well and attention to detail; but above all it’s about the people. You can make the difference and make a customers visit truly memorable.
The kitchen
Chefs in our business have a good work life balance, sensible hours and good pay. You’ll be working with fresh, local produce and doing ‘proper cooking’.
All our menus are created in house – there’s no head office handing down standardised, one size fits all menus and spec sheets. Our chefs are trained to work with fresh produce and prepare dishes they can be proud of.
